The story is very simple — basically an age-gap love story. But what makes the film special is Girish AD’s treatment👌. It feels fresh, relatable, entertaining and heartwarming throughout❤️. Even with a runtime of almost three hours, there is not a single awkward moment related to the age gap, which I really appreciated👌. Everything feels natural, and most of the film leaves you with a smile on your face❤️🫶🏻

Mamitha Baiju is very good in her role👌, and I can understand why many are saying she stole the show. But for me, Nivin Pauly is the real show-stealer🫶🏻. My goodness, he is just too good! His expressions, body language and those small little nuances throughout the film are beautiful to watch😍There were moments where I genuinely wanted to watch the scenes again just for his performance. He makes the character so lovable without trying too hard.

Comedy is another big plus👌. It comes naturally from the situations and conversations rather than forced jokes. There isn’t even a single lame comedy scene, and that’s where Girish AD’s writing really stands out👏. The drama is also kept light and simple without unnecessary melodrama.

Music is good and perfectly supports the mood of the film. More than anything, I personally loved some of the smaller emotional moments. The way Nivin says “Miss you” was so simple yet beautiful, and that hug🫶🏻 between the lead pair in the climax gave me such a satisfying feeling. I was literally watching it with a smile on my face. That moment made the entire journey feel complete😍

The only issue I had was with the pacing👎. The screenplay feels a little slow during the initial portions of the first half👎 and again before the pre-climax👎. A slightly tighter screenplay could have made the film even better. Other than that, I really don’t have many complaints.

Girish AD deserves all the credit for taking such a simple story and presenting it with so much warmth, humour and honesty👌. He never tries to overdo anything, and that’s probably the biggest beauty of the film.

Overall, a beautiful, refreshing and heartwarming feel-good entertainer😍. Nivin Pauly completely stole the show for me, and the film left me with the satisfaction of watching a lovely journey❤️🫶🏻

A perfect feel-good watch for this Onam. Definitely don’t miss it in theatres❤️🫶🏻
