The story is quite simple and straightforward, but what makes the film interesting is the way the second half unfolds👍The twists are handled really well, especially the pre-climax revelation👌. The way the director connects the dots and reveals the actual picture is one of the biggest strengths of the film👍
The first half is average overall👍. It mainly takes its time to establish the characters and the basic storyline. There are a few decent moments, but the screenplay is inconsistent and the pacing drops at several places👎👎.
Some scenes and situations also feel repetitive, which affects the overall flow👎Director Shiva Nirvana could have written a much tighter and more engaging screenplay, especially considering the potential of the core story.
The film gets considerably better in the second half👌
Once the actual story starts unfolding, the proceedings become more interesting. The twists work well, and the pre-climax portion is particularly impressive👌. The way the major revelation is presented and how the story connects everything that happened earlier is nicely executed👍
A few scenes in the second half can be disturbing and uncomfortable to watch, but they are important to what the film is trying to convey. The director deserves appreciation for handling those portions with a purpose rather than simply using them for shock value👍
The emotional scenes also work decently and give the second half the required emotional weight👍
Shiva Nirvana deserves applause for the core message👍 and for the way he handles the important portions of the second half. The twists, emotional moments, and especially the pre-climax reveal are presented effectively.
However, the biggest issue is the screenplay👎It remains inconsistent in both halves and becomes repetitive at times👎With a crisper and more gripping screenplay, the same story could have created a much stronger impact.
Ravi Teja is terrific in his role and delivers one of his better performances in recent times👌After a long time, it is refreshing to see him in a character that gives him enough scope to perform. He handles both the intense and emotional portions very well.
The child artist is also very good👍 and brings the required innocence and emotion to the character. The rest of the cast performs well and does justice to their respective roles.
The songs could have been much better👎and don’t leave a strong impression. However, the background score is good and works particularly well during the emotional and suspenseful portions of the second half.
Finally an average first half followed by a decent and much better second half👍
Overall, it’s a decent one-time watch that can be enjoyed with families👍
