The main plot point is revealed within the first 10 minutes. While it’s not something extraordinary, it’s a pretty decent setup👍. From there, the movie moves at a consistently slow pace👎, but the good thing is that it never loses focus from its core story👍. It’s raw, rustic, and stays completely true to its genre👍
The first half slowly builds up and delivers a terrific interval block. Everyone involved did their job really well, but the biggest standout is Anirudh🔥🔥. His background score during the interval sequence is absolutely phenomenal and elevates the entire moment to another level🔥🔥
After such a solid interval block, you naturally expect a much racier second half. However, director sticks to the same slow-paced narration👎. One particular police station episode is brilliantly executed and gives you goosebumps🔥🔥. The climax is also satisfying and wraps things up on a decent note👍
Loki as Das is outstanding👌. He’ll definitely surprise audiences with one of his finest performances👍. His screen presence and intensity carry the film in many moments.
Wamiqa as Chandra does a decent job👍. She fits the role well, but the character doesn’t leave a lasting impact.
Coming to Anirudh, there are honestly no words to describe his talent🙏🏻🔥. From the very first frame till the end credits, he delivers a background score that’s worthy of a star hero’s film🔥🔥. His music keeps you completely immersed in the movie, even during its slower portions. I also personally loved the conversations between Das and Chandra in the second half❤️. They feel mature, meaningful, and thought-provoking. Those situational dialogues have genuine soul❤️
This film won’t work for everyone. The screenplay remains slow throughout👎, and the storytelling is extremely raw and action-driven. Because of that, family audiences may not connect with it as much👎
But if you are okay with the slow narration, you’ll definitely love the film. Watch it for Loki’s terrific performance, Anirudh’s sensational background score, and some brilliantly executed action blocks.
Overall a decent watchable movie after longtime
