The first half works really well and is easily the biggest strength of the film👌❤️. The comedy portions land nicely, all the emotional scenes connect well, and the dialogues are very well written👌👌. Mamitha and Radhika garu are perfectly cast, and both of them deliver excellent performances in their respective roles❤️
The second half also starts on a promising note with good emotional blocks, especially with a terrific performance from Suriya sir👌 The main plot remains interesting during the initial portions, but unfortunately, the film slowly loses its grip when the director shifts the focus towards the subplots👎. This is where the pace drops and the narrative becomes a little too melodramatic👎
The entire Ooty episode doesn’t connect as strongly as expected and affects the flow of the second half👎. Had the director stayed focused on the core storyline, the overall impact could have been much stronger. The climax is decent👍 and ends the film on a lighter note👍, but considering the emotional potential of the story, I personally expected a much more moving and memorable ending.
Performance-wise, all the lead actors are solid and do complete justice to their characters👌👌. GV Prakash Kumar’s songs are average, but his background score works well in several scenes👍
Coming to Venky Atluri, he deserves special appreciation as a dialogue writer🔥. His writing is one of the film’s biggest strengths. The way he handles the entire first half, the early portions of the second half, and particularly the family and emotional scenes is impressive👌👌. However, he loses some of that grip once the subplots and Ooty portions take centre stage👎. Without those distractions, this genuinely had the potential to be a blockbuster family entertainer.
Overall: A very good and entertaining first half👌followed by an average second half👍👎. Despite its flaws, the film has enough comedy, emotions and strong performances to make it a decent family entertainer, especially for the family audience👍
