The storyline is quite simple, but the idea behind it feels fresh and innovative👌. The first 20 minutes take some time to set up the world and characters, but once the actual plot kicks in, the film turns into an absolutely beautiful ride🫶🏻❤️

This is a movie that completely relies on its screenplay, and the director hits it out of the park👌. There are so many moments that make you laugh, feel emotional🫶🏻, and at the same time leave you thinking. The underlying message is carried beautifully throughout the film without ever feeling forced — and that’s where the director’s brilliance really stands out👌

The first half is beautiful❤️, but the second half is even better🫶🏻❤️. The emotions land perfectly, and the film keeps getting stronger as it moves towards the climax❤️

Coming to performances, everyone does a fine job, but the two biggest pillars of the film are Vijay Sethupathi and the little kid🫶🏻.

Vijay Sethupathi is simply phenomenal. Once again, he proves exactly why audiences lovingly call him Makkal Selvan. Such a natural and effortless performance👌

But the real heart and soul of the film is the kid❤️🫶🏻. What a performance! Easily one of the finest child performances we have seen on the Indian screen in recent times🫶🏻❤️👌. His innocence completely wins you over. You laugh when he gets scared, you feel emotional when he smiles, and by the time the film reaches its climax, he makes sure your eyes are filled with tears. He literally carries the soul of the film on his shoulders❤️🫶🏻🫶🏻

Sai Abhyankkar’s music is decent and supports the film well, though a couple of chartbuster songs could have elevated the experience further👍👎

The only portions that didn’t completely work for me were the slightly slow opening 20 minutes and one fight sequence in the second half👎. Apart from these, there is very little to complain about.

And that final climax shot… ❤️
It stays with you even after you walk out of the theatre🫶🏻❤️

Overall, a beautiful, funny, emotional and thought-provoking film with a lot of heart❤️🫶🏻Definitely deserves to be experienced on the big screen.

Must Watch. Don’t miss this beautiful film in theatres! ❤️
